About the wine
The grapes are grown on the two “Bündte” and “Rüfiser” parcels that have a combined area of 5,400 square meters and are owned by VOLG Weinkellereien. The mash is fermented at a controlled temperature for 10 days. The acidity of the fermenting grape juice is reduced in stainless steel tanks. Then, the wine is aged for 10 months in French barrels; one-third is aged in new wooden barrels.
