Varietal composition: Cabernet Sauvignon (41%)Petit Verdot (28%); Cabernet Franc (23%); Merlot (8%)
Vinification: Vinification in the bordelaise style with a maceration period of 12 - 16 days in stainless-steel tanks maintained at a temperature of 26 - 30°C. Depending of the varietal composition and the structure, the wine is matured in new (77%) and one year old (23%) French barriques for over 14 months. The four varietal compositions are vinified separately and assembled just before bottling.
Alcohol content: 13.2 % Vol.
Color: Deep ruby red.
Bouquet: Intense and complex. With fruity notes of red and blackberries, black cherry. Floral hints that remind the violet, and nuances of pepper and liquorice.
Palate: Full-bodied and deep. Balanced and fruity. At the finish the wine is very persistent.
Serving temperature: 16 –18 °C
Aging: The Estro 2018 will reach its full expressive potential beginning in spring 2021 and will continue to develop in character through 2028 and beyond if properly cellared.
