Characteristics: dry white matured in vats 

Grape variety : Sylvaner

Terroir : Sion

Tasting : fine and elegant nose, aromas of yellow plums, notes of sweet almond, hazelnut fresh bread, lightly mineral. On the palate, it is structured, both harmonious and powerful, beautiful lemony acidity in the finish.

Goes along nicely with: aperitifs, asparagus, vegetable gratins, fresh water fish.

Best served at  : 10 °C

Product information "Terre Alte Merlot Bianco del Ticino Doc 2022"

Varietal composition: Merlot

Vinification: The must for this white Merlot is obtained from the free-run juice of the crushing and partial destemming and a very gentle subsequent pressing. It is fermented in stainless-steel tanks at a temperature of 18 – 20°C. In order to maintain characteristic freshness and savour, the Terre Alte is not permitted to undergo malolactic fermentation.

Color: Light straw-tinted yellow.

Bouquet: Delicate and harmonious, with white peach, Williams pear, and delicate Citrus and floral nuances.

Palate: Fresh, elegant and harmonious. Mineral and long at the finish. Ideal for aperitifs!

Aging: The Terre Alte 2022 will reach its full expressive potential beginning in spring of 2024 and will retain its character through 2025 and beyond if properly cellared.
