Grand Prix du Vin Suisse, 2014: Gold Certificate
After several attempts over the course of a decade, we produced the Mosaico. Its origin dates back to the well-known ESPE wines, which are also made with an assemblage of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes and then fermented for 12 months in new French barrels.
Fermentation: Fermentation in wooden barrels for 12 months with some aging on the lees
Color: Light, clear straw yellow with some mild green reflexes
Bouquet: Intense, broad and complex. Flowery and fruity with notes of citrus fruit such as grapefruit as well as exotic fruit that blend well with the sweetness of acacia honey
Palate: Intense and fruity with aromas of gooseberry, grapefruit and pineapple. Pronounced freshness thanks to the pleasant acidity. Mineral, long-lasting and balanced. Juicy finish with many aromas. Complex and good structure.
Pasta dishes with marinara sauce, crustaceans, white meat in light sauces, ripe soft cheese, mushrooms
