Under the earth, the rock
This Chasselas is both generous and elegant, delicately fruity, with a certain depth, highlighted by scents of wild flowers. It also emanates mineral notes of flint impregnated by the terroir of Saint-Saphorin, in particular on this plot where around forty strains of Chasselas grow on a rock, “Roche Ronde ”, covered with earth. An ingenious optimization of the land availab le in a region where space is expensive!

COLOUR: Pale yellow.
NOSE: With fruity scents, but also mineral from the limestone soil.
PALATE: Generous, elegant, fruity with notes of fragrant flowers.

Wine-Growing Terroir
The name "Roche Ronde" comes from a rock on which soil was brought in order to plant around forty strains of chasselas. You can also see it by taking the Chexbres road which clim bs into the vineyard from the banks of the lake.
