Deep, dark tannins accentuate this red wine blend, with its delicate aromas of red and black berries, leather, and tobacco. Like famous chefs, we have our own secret recipe. This red wine blend is made from grapes from the Wilchingen region that simply want to stay undercover.

Bottled unfiltered.

Winemaking
The various grapes are hand-picked and subjected to traditional mash fermentation separately. The individual wines mature for approximately 24 months in American oak barrels. The individual wines are blended through extensive tasting to find the optimal blend.

Sensory properties
Velvety tannins and a powerful body. On the palate, aromas of tobacco, vanilla, and rum pot emerge. A long, never-ending finish will leave you with memories of this wine for a long time to come.

The Undercover is our only red wine cuvée that bears its name because the grape varieties remain secret.
